Linda Bonfanti, Founder & President

As the founder and driving force behind the EmpowerGen Foundation, Linda leads the effort to let the world know who we are and what we stand for.

Linda has dedicated her 30+ year career to helping children thrive. Starting with a home-based daycare, she evolved the business to a center-based model, and subsequently grew Magical Beginnings from that one center to seven award-winning Early Childhood Education Centers serving communities and families in Massachusetts.

With the experience that came with decades of working with children and with the broader community that serves them, Linda came to see that there was a tremendous opportunity to do even more. She had experience with the many youth-based causes doing great work, and she saw that they were always working hard to expand their reach and generate much-needed resources. What if, she thought, we could bring together different communities, partners and other non-profits into a network that multiplies the efforts of all?

Empower Gen was born from this vision – to help children reach their potential by creating connections between communities, partners, and other non-profits.

Importantly, Linda welcomes conversations about how we can better serve our community.
