Prom Dress Boutique Event
Prom season is a rite of passage, but it is a costly event, one that many girls in our community might not get a chance to experience. For the last 3 years, our team has made prom dress dreams come true! We collect, clean and then provide a venue for young ladies to get the prom dress of their dreams, courtesy of generous donations of gently used dresses.
Sip and Shop
EmpowerGen runs these local small business events, with a focus on women-owned enterprises, multiple times during the year to strengthen our network and broaden our reach in the community.
Lazarus House
An EmpowerGen team tradition, we partnered with the staff and families at Magical Beginnings River St to make the holidays a little brighter for 7 children in the Lazarus House. Each child receives pajamas, slippers, snow, boots, clothing, and toys.
We partnered with the team at Teachable Moments LLC, Peabody, to collect personal hygiene items for the women and children at the shelter as well.
