Growing up today is hard and only getting harder. Children are increasingly challenged by negativity, selfishness, and conforming to social pressure.

We have sharpened our purpose of Empowering Children to Advancing our Creed, that is directly aligned with the challenges.

Children are the force that motivates every member of our organization. We honor the intrinsic dignity, potential, and worth of each child. We are committed to serving them, and in that spirit, we freely give of our time, energy, and resources.

Ideas and conversations drive inspiration, but action drives change. We strive to bring the best of what we have into realization, working to remove obstacles, and do our best to deliver that to the children of our communities.

Who We Are

We’ve been around for awhile…our founder, Linda Bonfanti, and her team of amazing volunteers have been making an impact in our communities for over 30 years. EmpowerGen was created to harness that energy and experience to shine a light on nonprofits doing great things for our community and their youth.
