Champions
Champions are at heart of the story
Champions are at the heart of the story. These are the youth-focused nonprofits and community outreach projects that are small but mighty. They know their communities intimately, and are led by or serve young people directly.
Our support is rooted in the EmpowerGen Creed — positivity, generosity, and independent thinking. We walk alongside Champions with funding, resources, and a collaborative network that helps them grow.
When Champions grow stronger, entire communities benefit.
Explore the nonprofits and outreach projects who embody the EmpowerGen spirit. We’re always on the lookout for Champions! If you’d like to join our movement as a Champion, reach out to us.
Connor’s Kindness Project
We are proud to sponsor the team at Connors Kindness. Their mission is to spread kindness by uplifting children that are faced with a challenging situation and to inspire our youth to care for others, be inclusive, and engage in community service.
Comfort Cuddles by Erin
We are so lucky to be partnering with our latest champion of children – Comfort Cuddles by Erin! Erin and her team’s mission is to bring comfort and smiles to children facing hardships. They work on an individual basis with children and their families to identify their unique interests and likes, then design, craft and deliver a customized blanket – and bring smiles all around!
The Skip and Shirley LaBrie Scholarship
The Skip and Shirley LaBrie Scholarship is awarded each year to students working on their degree in Early Childhood Education at Peabody Veteran Memorial High School.
Prom Dress Event Boutique
A tradition with our team, we’ve spent years making prom dress dreams come true! We collect and clean the dresses, and have provided a venue for dozens of young ladies to get the dress of their dreams.
Sip and Shop
A passion of our founder’s, EmpowerGen runs these local small business events multiple times during the year to help small businesses, strengthen our network, get our message out, and broaden our reach.
Holiday Traditions
We partner with the team at Magical Beginnings River St to make the holidays a little brighter for kids in the Lazarus House. Each child receives pajamas, slippers, snow boots, clothing, and toys.
Supporting Everyday Needs
We partner with the team at Teachable Moments LLC, Peabody, to collect personal hygiene items for the women and children at Lazarus House.
Lazarus House Ministries
Lazarus House Ministries is proud and grateful to call EmpowerGen Foundation a valued community partner. Their generosity has made a real difference for children in our housing program, from Halloween costumes and playroom materials to holiday gifts coordinated through Project Bethlehem.
